INFORMATION ABOUT THE 1ST DAY of Al-Siddiq School
The first day of the school year 2025-2026will be September 7th 2025, InShaaAllah.
You will receive a phone call and an email to remind you about the 1st day. Please be sure to keep your phone # and your email updated with the school office by sending a text message to the school’s phone # 708-717-8187.
On the 1st day of school, please drop off your child by the main entrance of Universal School, no parents are allowed in the building at the time of the drop off. We are asking for parents’ cooperation to make the students’ arrival and departure from the school as fast, smooth, and safe as possible, In Shaa Allah.
Your child’s teacher will call you the day before the 1st day and inform you about: the child’s level, teacher’s name, and the classroom number. Please write this information on a piece of paper and make sure that your child brings this paper to the school on the 1st day, so our staff will be able to assist the child to the right classroom. Students coming to school on the first day, without knowing their teacher’s name or their classroom #, must use the Gym door by the school parking lot; the school staff will prosses their information and try to get them to the right classroom and this usually take some time.
New students joining Al-Siddiq School with some knowledge of reading and writing the Arabic language may be required to take a placement test to be placed at the right level. Office staff will contact the parents to schedule the placement test, one week before the start of the school year.
